Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks a Director of Energy to lead our Energy Group, drive growth, and advance decarbonization across building projects nationwide. You’ll guide an existing team, deepen client partnerships, influence strategy, and expand services from energy modeling to life cycle cost analysis and electrification.

This hybrid role requires 15+ years in energy consulting, proven business development, and strong leadership. Two in-office days per week in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Energy Team, fostering accountability and growth.
• Explore new markets and develop an industry-leading Energy group.
• Drive business development, sales strategy, and client management.
• Oversee project performance, quality control, and delivery excellence.
• Support pursuits across building types.
• Set group strategic goals and priorities.
• Represent Glumac in conferences and industry outreach.
• Partner with leadership on innovation and strategic planning.
• Contribute to proposals, hiring, and team development.
