  • Professional experience in utility management, energy contract negotiation, or power purchasing—specifically overseeing large-scale electric power acquisitions and driving transactions toward renewable/clean energy standards (e.g., transitioning portfolios to 100% clean power).
  • Experience collaborating with high-level external stakeholders, legislative bodies, state agencies, or governing councils (such as Green Building Councils or Green Purchasing Committees) to draft executive orders, legislative impact analyses, or cross-governmental sustainability policies.
  • Advance degree from an accredited college or university in either a technical or scientific field of study with an emphasis on sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience purchasing energy for large commercial operations.
