Job summary

Leading Educators is seeking a Director of Implementation, Design, and Coaching – ELA to drive instructional transformation across seven San Mateo‑Foster City schools. You will own the full lifecycle of ELA implementation—from launch through measurable impact—and build capacity of school and district leaders to sustain literacy excellence.

This hybrid leadership role requires expertise in instructional coaching, professional learning design, and strategic client partnership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in education, instructional leadership or district‑level instructional support.
• Experience leading complex multi‑school implementation efforts across districts or schools.
• Proven ability to design high‑quality professional learning aligned to standards and measurable outcomes.
• Direct experience coaching school or district leaders and translating coaching into observable changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional transformation across seven schools in the San Mateo‑Foster City District.
• Own the full lifecycle of ELA implementation—from launch through measurable impact.
• Design and facilitate job‑embedded professional learning cycles for staff.
• Translate data into actionable insights and communicate them to diverse stakeholders.
• Capitalize on AI tools to improve efficiency and insight in instruction and implementation.
