Job summary

Rush-Henrietta Central SD is seeking a Director of Technology who will shape the district's educational technology landscape and serve as the Data Protection Officer. This role requires blending technical expertise with strong educational leadership to align technology with K-12 learning objectives.

The director will oversee network and security, guide instructional technology integration, and ensure ethical, compliant use of digital resources across nine schools.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for New York administrative certification (SBL, SAS or SDA).
• Experience leading technology in K-12 or educational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology plan aligned with the educational goals of the district.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the district's technology infrastructure and security protocols.
• Collaborate with program directors, building leaders, and teachers to integrate technology into the K-12 curriculum.
• Develop and manage the technology budget and evaluate investments to support district goals and EdLaw 2-d compliance.
• Lead a 14-member team and foster partnerships with parents, community organizations, and vendors.
