Job summary

10X Health System is seeking a Director of eCommerce to shape how customers discover and buy products across the Shopify storefront, Amazon and other marketplaces, and subscription programs.

This leadership role directly influences digital revenue, customer experience, and growth of the eCommerce function. You will translate business priorities into an eCommerce roadmap and drive improvements in merchandising, storefront, conversion, and retention.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on eCommerce experience, incl. 3+ years leading a channel, team, or P&L.
• Proven success growing direct-to-consumer revenue for health/wellness/CPG brands.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and storefront optimization.
• Amazon marketplace experience with PPC, listings and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Shopify storefront performance and key revenue metrics.
• Improve the digital customer journey from first visit to purchase.
• Plan and run A/B tests across landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, and funnels.
• Collaborate with paid media leadership to boost campaign-to-revenue.
• Plan digital merchandising across bundles, cross-sells, upsells, and collections.
• Improve bundles, subscriptions, and promotional merchandising online.
• Monitor online subscription conversion, renewal rates, and LTV.
• Oversee Amazon marketplace performance, PPC spend, ROAS and listings.
• Maintain Shopify Plus tech stack and analytics integrations.
• Build dashboards linking site performance to revenue outcomes.

COMPENSATION: $170,000 - $190,000 + incentive

Position Summary

The Director of eCommerce will shape how customers discover and purchase 10X Health products across the Shopify storefront, Amazon and other marketplaces, and subscription programs. This hands‑on leadership role has direct influence over digital revenue, the customer experience, and the growth of the eCommerce function. The Director will translate business priorities into an eCommerce roadmap and personally drive improvements across merchandising, storefront experience, conversion, and retention. This person is accountable for results including conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, subscription growth, and digital revenue contribution. Working closely with the CMO and in partnership with product, technology, and analytics, the Director will identify opportunities, test solutions, and bring improvements to market while developing the processes and team capabilities to support the business as it grows.

OBJECTIVES

Digital Revenue Performance

• Manage Shopify storefront performance, including revenue, conversion rate, revenue per visitor, and average order value
• Improve the digital customer journey from first visit through purchase by identifying issues and implementing solutions
• Plan and run A/B tests across landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, and funnel experiences
• Work with paid media leadership to improve conversion from campaign traffic to revenue

Digital Merchandising & Conversion

• Plan and execute digital merchandising across bundles, cross sells, upsells, and product collections
• Improve how product bundles, protocols, and subscription offers are presented online
• Develop and implement promotional and merchandising tactics that increase revenue per visitor and average order value

Subscription & Retention Commerce

• Monitor and improve online subscription conversion, renewal rates, and subscriber lifetime value
• Optimize subscription enrollment flows and retention experiences directly
• Work with lifecycle marketing to align on site messaging with retention and engagement campaigns

Amazon & Marketplace

• Manage Amazon marketplace performance, including agency relationships, advertising, and listing optimization
• Manage the Amazon P&L, including PPC spend, ROAS, and category rankings
• Implement brand defense strategies for branded search and competitive positioning
• Assess opportunities to expand to additional digital marketplaces and bring recommendations forward

Technology & Analytics

• Manage the Shopify Plus technology stack and maintain the eCommerce roadmap in coordination with technology partners
• Oversee integrations, applications, and infrastructure powering the digital storefront, and troubleshoot issues with the appropriate partners
• Build dashboards or coordinate their development to connect site performance to revenue outcomes
• Establish and maintain attribution methods that connect marketing channels to revenue performance

COMPETENCIES

• Commercial judgment to identify and prioritize opportunities that can improve digital revenue across the customer journey
• Ability to focus time and resources on changes most likely to produce measurable results
• Accountability for day‑to‑day eCommerce performance and the metrics that influence growth
• Ability to analyze performance data, make clear recommendations, and carry improvements through execution
• Hands‑on experience building and improving commerce experiences that increase conversion, customer engagement, and lifetime value
• Ability to coordinate marketing, product, and technology teams around shared digital revenue objectives
• Ability to guide team members or external partners across merchandising, marketplace performance, and site optimization while remaining personally involved in execution
• Clear communication of performance, opportunities, and priorities to executive leadership
• Ability to balance testing, speed of execution, and operational discipline

Education & Experience

• 7+ years of hands‑on eCommerce experience, including 3+ years leading a channel, team, or P&L
• Proven success growing direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) revenue for health, wellness, supplement, or CPG brands preferred
• Deep working knowledge of Shopify Plus and digital storefront optimization, with the ability to make and implement improvements directly
• Amazon marketplace experience, including PPC, listings, and performance management
• Experience using GA4, Shopify analytics, and business intelligence tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
• Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration, launches, or leadership meetings.
