Job summary

New Horizon Academy seeks an experienced School Director for our Lincoln campus, starting around January 4, 2027. The role leads operations, curriculum, and staff while meeting NE licensing and NAEYC expectations. Salary ranges from $62,000 to $69,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to lead in a fast-paced, professional environment, with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Meet the Program Administrator qualifications for NAEYC accreditation.
• Knowledge of NE licensing requirements, childcare assistance, NAEYC, Conscious Discipline, ezWRITE and curriculum.
• Management experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Lincoln school operations.
• Work with a caring and dedicated team and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.
• Support staff development and growth.
• Oversee curriculum and classroom environments.
