Description

The Director of E-Commerce will lead the strategy, growth, and day-to-day execution of all digital commerce initiatives (domestic and internationally) for Murphy’s Naturals. This individual will be responsible for driving direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, optimizing performance across third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart+, Target+, etc.), and enhancing our digital presence to fuel growth and elevate the brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the e-commerce P&L and develop annual plans to achieve sales, margin, and growth targets.
  • Lead the strategic direction and optimization of our Shopify DTC site and Amazon storefront.
  • Identify and evaluate new digital sales channels and partnership opportunities.
Amazon & Other Marketplaces
  • Manage our Amazon business top to bottom, including domestic and international channels.
  • Monitor performance metrics, customer reviews, and pricing integrity.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap for Amazon International expansion (Canada, UK, + EU), including compliance, localization, logistics, and customer service considerations.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure inventory planning and fulfillment readiness for international demand.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and optimize localized content, promotions, and advertising strategies for global marketplaces.
  • Develop growth strategies for other potential marketplaces including Walmart+, Target+, and international equivalents.
Data & Analytics
  • Use data to drive decision-making around customer acquisition, retention, and value.
  • Build dashboards and reporting cadences to track KPIs and optimize performance.
  • Monitor trends in e-commerce, CPG, and DTC to stay ahead of the curve.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in a CPG brand.
  • Proven track record growing DTC and Amazon sales.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker and strong communicator who can balance brand and performance.
  • Passion for natural products, the outdoors, and purpose-driven business is a plus.

  • The confidence to take risks, try new things, and be open to new ideas.
  • A team player mindset willing to jump in wherever needed (may require occasional work on weekends).
