Job summary

Nestlé’s Research & Development Center seeks a Director of Technical Product Development to lead the innovation, development, and commercialization of pizza and dough-based snacking products across a major North American portfolio.

The role combines deep technical leadership with strategic direction, guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept to launch, shaping the future of the pizza and snacking category with science-based solutions and breakthrough technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, Food Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of R&D experience in the food industry (must include dough-based products).
5+ years of people leadership experience.
Proven track record leading product development programs from concept through commercialization.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the pizza and dough-based snack platform innovation strategy.
Build and lead high-performing product developers, food scientists, and chefs.
Provide technical leadership across dough systems, fermentation, baking, and shelf-life.
Influence stakeholder teams and present innovation strategies to senior leadership.
Translate business objectives into prioritized R&D roadmaps and manage portfolio budgets.
