Sterling Park Senior Living in Waite Park, MN, seeks a Director of Dining Services (CDM) to lead our dining team in a 40-bed SNF with attached assisted living. A Certified Dietary Manager with ServSafe credentials is preferred, with strong leadership and patient-centered care in a healthcare setting.

You’ll manage staffing, ordering, preparation, delivery, sanitation, and safety, while collaborating with dietitians and supporting a compassionate, resident-first dining experience.

Qualifications

• CDM certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Restaurant leadership experience, especially in healthcare settings.
• Able to interact professionally with Dietician/Nutritionist and team.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Dietary Department including staffing, food ordering, preparation, delivery and sanitation.
• Direct various kitchen duties and promote excellence in customer service and safety.
• Collaborate with Dietician/Nutritionist and staff to ensure resident care plans are followed.
• Lead dining services in both SNF and attached assisted living facility.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Dining Services oversees operation of the Dietary Department to include staffing, food ordering, preparation, food delivery and sanitation in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans and appropriate regulations. Responsible for directing various duties in and around the kitchen, promotes and demonstrates excellence in customer service and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CDM certification, or willingness to obtain certification and/or other state-specific requirements.
• ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Restaurant leadership experience, especially within the healthcare industry, will help you thrive in this role.
• Able to interact professionally, positively, and collaboratively with Dietician/Nutritionist and team members.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
