Compass Group USA in Saxtons River, VT is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead all dining operations, ensure outstanding service and client satisfaction, and oversee budgets and team development.

The role involves collaboration with the culinary team to design menus, manage financial performance, and uphold food safety standards across multiple venues. A strategic, hands‑on leader is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive food service management experience.
• Budgeting, financial reporting, and cost controls.
• Strong background in catering, events and high‑volume food production.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for all dining operations including dining services, catering, and events.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on seasonal menus and programs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and period‑end closing.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols.
• Conduct pre‑service team meetings and align service standards.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Drive marketing initiatives and catering showcases.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
