Constellation in Newark, NJ is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a multi F&B program at a prominent Cultural Center. You will manage dining service operations, budgeting, safety, menu development, and staff development on a large scale.

The role requires a minimum of six years in leadership within food service, strong financial acumen, and a track record in budget controls. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• At least six years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management.
• Proven experience in financial management and controls.
• Advanced skills in budgeting, labor, and food cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments.
• Function as the liaison in all administrative roles with in the budget.
• Take responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and food preparation and service.
• Supervise staff and facilitate staff development.
