Responsibilities include menu planning, cost control, hiring/training, scheduling, and sanitation. Strong leadership and communication skills are required for a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• At least 1 year of management/supervisory experience in a restaurant setting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of restaurant service, meal timing, and guest expectations.
• Ability to lead a harmonious, team-oriented environment with strong communication.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a philosophy of dignified, compassionate service to residents.
• Prepares and serves meals per planned menus with standard portions.
• Assist with hiring, training, and supervision of food service staff.
• Schedule staff to cover all shifts and monitor performance evaluations.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen/food service areas in compliance with sanitation codes.
• Manage resident, staff, and guest meal accounting per procedures.
• Inventory and order food and supplies to maintain adequate stock.
• Monitor food service costs within budget guidelines and meet resident preferences.
