• Direct managerial responsibility for a single software engineer team.
• Experience establishing and maintaining policy and standards for software development teams.
• Ability to drive security and privacy into development processes.
• Talent acquisition, resource planning and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets policy and drives adherence to standards, best practices and modern tech/tooling for cloud and edge/OT software systems development, including change management.
• Continuously monitors and reduces technical debt.
• Leads activities that make security and privacy integral to development processes.
• Identifies and manages the resources necessary for all stages of software development projects.
• Ensures technical, financial, quality, performance, scalability, and documentation targets are met.
• Forms, maintains and leads workgroups and individuals to achieve organizational objectives.
• Sets quality, performance, and capability targets aligned with organizational goals.
