Job summary
Palo Alto Networks in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Director of Digital Engineering - Web Platforms to own the technical vision, development, and scalability of our global digital presence. Qualifications
- 15+ years in software engineering or martech leadership in fast-paced enterprise settings.
- Expert in AEM, HTL, Sling, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong frontend skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and accessibility standards.
- Experience integrating CDPs, analytics, and personalization tools.
- Proven global team leadership and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap for customer-facing web properties.
- Oversee AEM implementation and multi-site deployments.
- Lead ML/AI powered workflows and hyper-personalization.
- Drive performance, security, and reliability across platforms.
- Mentor distributed engineering teams and enforce SDLC/Agile.
- Collaborate with UX/Product to translate designs into pixel-perfect experiences.
- Ensure ADA/WCAG compliance and privacy standards.
