Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Director of Digital Engineering - Web Platforms to own the technical vision and scale our global digital presence.

You will lead a high-performing, distributed team of frontend and backend engineers, AEM developers, and platform architects, reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Experience and Engineering. You will modernize our web platforms, drive AI-powered workflows, and ensure top performance, security, and accessibility across worldwide domains.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale web platforms in a fast-paced B2B tech or enterprise environment and translating complex concepts for executives.
• Proficiency in AEM, HTL, Sling, RESTful APIs, and enterprise CMS architecture.
• Strong command of front-end fundamentals, accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG), and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for customer-facing web properties and direct enterprise backend integrations.
• Own AEM governance, HTL/Sling components, and multilingual deployment architectures.
• Lead ML/Generative AI and automated marketing workflows across the web ecosystem.
