Job summary

Collin College is seeking a program administrator to oversee the diagnostic medical sonography program. You will work with the Academic Dean to maintain THECB and SACSCOC standards, manage staffing, curriculum development, and program marketing, and supervise faculty and staff.

You will also assist with budget planning, student records, and coordinating clinical affiliations while teaching one class per year as needed. A strong background in sonography and teaching is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years as a registered sonographer are required.
• Teaching experience in community college or university settings is required.
• Credentialed as Registered Sonographer in general sonography; Abdomen/OB-Gyn preferred.
• Texas license or eligibility; CPR/BLS certification; background check due to security sensitive status.

Responsibilities

• Manage the diagnostic medical sonography program with budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.
• Maintain compliance with THECB, SACSCOC, and accreditation standards.
• Lead curriculum development and faculty supervision; oversee student records and outcomes.
