Job summary

AgentSync, a Denver-based SaaS pioneer, seeks a Director of DevOps, Security and IT to lead cloud infrastructure, security, IT, and AI initiatives. You will set strategy, grow a multi-disciplinary team, and align engineering with business goals from a fast-moving startup.

The role requires hands-on AWS, Terraform, ECS/EKS, and strong security governance. You will drive reliability, cost efficiency, and scalable delivery while partnering with Legal and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DevOps, platform, infrastructure, security, or IT teams in SaaS startups.
• Hands-on production AWS infrastructure ops including IaC, ECS/EKS, networking, IAM, and cost optimization.
• Ownership of CI/CD, developer platforms, observability, service reliability, and DR.
• Security program leadership: vulnerability management, cloud/identity security, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmaps for DevOps, Security, IT, and AI enablement with clear goals.
• Lead, hire, and develop engineers; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own AWS infra reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency (IaC, containers, networking).
• Improve CI/CD and self-service for safe, fast software delivery; define testing and rollback standards.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, incident response, backups, and business continuity.
• Lead security program across cloud, identity, endpoints, and SDLC with risk-based prioritization.
• Oversee SOC 2 readiness, controls, and customer security questionnaires.
• Oversee IT operations: identity lifecycle, SSO/MFA, device management, onboarding/offboarding.
• Drive automation across infra, security, and IT; enable AI tooling adoption.
• Lead AI enablement across Engineering/business with pilots and governance.
