Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a dynamic Director, Development Operations Infrastructure Engineering to lead the design and governance of PPFA’s web server infrastructure in AWS. The role focuses on security, availability, and compliance (PCI, HIPAA) while guiding infrastructure strategy, policies, and the shared services that support AppDev, QA, Product, and Information Security teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Experience implementing nontrivial applications in Python, Typescript, and Bash.
• Experience with compliance requirements and industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI, NIST, CIS, OWASP.
• Strong Linux System Administration skills and extensive knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tooling and server patch management.
• 5+ years experience using Jenkins, Github, AWS, ECS, Nginx, Docker, PgSQL, Elasticache, Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Tenable, Splunk, SaltStack, Terraform.
• 5+ years experience with System Hardening Regimes and Techniques, and IDP/IDS tools like Palo Alto.

Aufgaben

• The Director will be part of the IT Ops team focusing on PPOL and PPFA web properties.
• Deliver by hands-on engineering, creating, monitoring, updating, and deploying infrastructure assets, CI/CD tooling, security and compliance assets for PPFA websites in AWS.
• Manage shared service capacity and set standards for day-to-day infrastructure operations.
