Job summary

ADL in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Director of Development to lead regional fundraising, manage frontline staff, and drive major gifts between $50,000 and $500,000 in support of ADL's priorities.

You will collaborate with the Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement, develop stewardship plans, oversee campaigns, and maintain donor records in a CRM, with a hybrid office schedule. Five to seven years of fundraising leadership and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of community fundraising experience with increasing levels of fundraising responsibility and management.
• Experience soliciting and closing five- to six-figure gifts, including multi-year commitments.
• Experience in a national organization with an affiliate or chapter structure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, manage and assess regional frontline fundraisers.
• Develop cultivation strategies for gifts between $50,000 and $500,000, nurturing relationships through personalized communications and meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of ADL and its fundraising priorities.
• Identify new major gift prospects with Prospect Research and understand their philanthropic interests.
• Negotiate gift agreements and terms with donors in collaboration with the Philanthropic Services team.
• Implement stewardship plans for major gift donors with timely acknowledgments and reporting.
• Coordinate prospect review and fundraising needs in team meetings.
• Plan and evaluate the annual fundraising campaign with leadership and regional staff.
• Ensure regional events align with donor experience policies and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate donor records in CRM and document proposals and gifts.
