Job summary

ADL in Philadelphia seeks a Director of Development to lead regional frontline fundraising, manage a team, and drive strategic donor engagement to secure major gifts in the $50,000 to $500,000 range. You will collaborate with senior staff to grow regional programs and meet annual fundraising goals.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Philanthropic Engagement, you will supervise Major Gift Officers, cultivate high-net-worth prospects, and ensure timely acknowledgment and reporting of donor impact.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of community fundraising experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience soliciting and closing five- and six-figure gifts, including multi-year commitments.
• Experience in a national organization with an affiliate or chapter structure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional frontline fundraisers and assess performance.
• Develop cultivation strategies for gifts between $50,000 and $500,000.
• Maintain knowledge of ADL mission, programs and fundraising priorities.
• Identify new major gift prospects through Prospect Research.
• Negotiate gift agreements with donors in collaboration with Philanthropic Services team.
• Implement stewardship plans for major gift donors with timely recognition and reporting.
• Coordinate prospect review and fundraising strategy with Development team.
