Pritzker Military Museum & Library, located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, and major gift campaigns in support of growth across exhibitions, programs, and events.

The role focuses on expanding contributed revenue, building a robust major-gift pipeline, managing a portfolio of donors, and guiding the organization through a strategic capital campaign and stewardship initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit, cultural, educational, or related institution.
• Proven success cultivating and soliciting major donors and managing a substantial portfolio of prospects.
• Experience developing contributed revenue through major gifts, institutional support, or campaign fundraising.
• Ability to identify new prospects, build a fundraising pipeline, establish revenue goals, and adjust strategy based on performance.
• Experience with donor stewardship and working with senior leadership and Board members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the PMML's fundraising strategy and annual/longer-term revenue goals.
• Identify and develop new sources of philanthropic support while building a pipeline.
• Lead sponsorship strategy and assist with major gift solicitations and donor stewardship.
• Oversee grants and foundation relations and manage external fundraising support.
• Lead fundraising events such as the Liberty Gala and manage donor engagement.
