Job summary

Florida International University seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising efforts for the Office of the Provost. The role focuses on identifying, expanding, and cultivating donor relationships to close gifts and advance FIU’s priorities.

The position reports to the Provost and collaborates with the FIU Foundation, Raiser's Edge/FPM, and other development professionals to increase gifts and steward donors across campuses and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields; OR twelve (12) years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive fundraising program.
• Identifies and cultivates relationships with donors and prospects.
• Directs major and principal gift solicitation activities.
• Oversees donor stewardship and scholarship funding.
