Horizons Greater Washington (HGW) is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy and execution, driving $2–3 million annually while building long-term donor relationships. Qualifications

• 8+ years nonprofit fundraising leadership, including senior fundraising responsibility
• Experience leading major gifts programs and donor stewardship
• Proven ability to develop fundraising strategy and manage multiple revenue streams
• Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills
• Comfort working in a hybrid organization and reporting to the Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual fundraising plan of $2–3 million
• Set revenue targets and track progress with metrics
• Lead major gifts and donor engagement strategies
• Oversee proposals, grants, and fundraising events
• Manage Salesforce CRM for portfolio reporting and donor data
