Job summary

The Summit Counseling Center in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Director of Development to lead a comprehensive fundraising program that advances its mission of faith-integrated behavioral health services.

You will work with the Executive Director, Board, donors, churches, foundations, and partners to grow annual philanthropic revenue across major gifts, annual giving, grants, partnerships, events, and planned giving.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible nonprofit fundraising experience.
Proven success securing major gifts, grants, sponsorships, and donor support.
History of achieving fundraising goals exceeding $1 million annually.
Experience with nonprofit boards, volunteer leadership, and donor databases.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive annual development plan to meet board and director goals.
Create multi-year fundraising strategies to support growth and sustainability.
Identify funding priorities with leadership and board committees.
Develop and manage the annual Development budget and fundraising calendar.
Provide monthly fundraising reports, donor pipelines, and revenue projections.
