Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a development professional to lead donor relations and annual fundraising initiatives within the Foundation. You will cultivate prospects, set goals, and collaborate with leadership to expand giving, while maintaining donor recognition and stewardship.

The role requires strong communication, strategic planning, and fundraising experience, with familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Ability to build relationships with donors, trustees, staff, and volunteers.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of the Atlanta community and representing the Foundation credibly.
• Strong planning, communications, and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate prospects using moves management via mail, telephone, and meetings.
• Develop annual goals and action plans to maximize fundraising support.
• Collaborate with Foundation leadership to implement a comprehensive solicitation program.
• Identify potential prospects and grow the donor base.
• Represent Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at community functions and nurture relationships.
• Achieve revenue targets while minimizing cost to raise a dollar.
• Maintain up-to-date donor records in Raiser’s Edge and support staff development.
