Job summary

HelpLine in Delaware County, Ohio, is seeking a Development Director to expand philanthropic impact by cultivating relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community supporters. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role requires travel across Delaware, Morrow, Union, Crawford, and Wyandot counties.

You will lead donor engagement, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives, coordinate with Marketing on campaigns, and liaise with the Board to drive sustainability and community impact.

Qualifications

• Strong track record building donor relationships and securing gifts.
• Experience managing donor databases and stewardship activities.
• Ability to collaborate with boards and leadership.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships with individuals, corporate partners, and community supporters.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors and strengthen engagement with current donors.
• Develop customized cultivation and stewardship strategies aligned with HelpLine's mission.
• Lead donor meetings, presentations, and community outreach to secure support.
• Develop corporate sponsorships, workplace giving partnerships, and broader community investment.
• Support annual giving campaigns and donor communications with Marketing.
• Maintain accurate donor records and stewardship activities in CRM.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Board Development Committee.
• Collaborate with leadership, programs, and finance to align fundraising with priorities.
• Contribute to long-term fundraising strategies and growth.
