Job summary

The Lenny Zakim Fund in Boston seeks a mission-driven Director of Development with 5–7 years of fundraising experience to lead its philanthropic programs and growth.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will design and implement strategies across individual giving, foundations, corporate sponsorships, and events, with a revenue target of $1.5M and collaboration with staff, board, and funders to expand impact.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of fundraising experience with a track record across multiple funding streams.
• Experience designing and leading comprehensive fundraising programs for individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Strong writing and communication skills with donor stewardship experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and long-range fundraising plans to meet revenue goals.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors; build a robust donor pipeline.
• Oversee data integration and reporting across DonorPerfect and Constant Contact.
• Plan and manage donor engagement events and collaborate with the board and volunteers.
