The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester Inc is seeking a Director of Development in Manchester, NH to oversee all fundraising activities, donor relations, and sponsorship programs. The role also involves strategic development of planned giving and website-related initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of fundraising experience, with a track record of building partnerships, managing events, and launching major fundraising campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of fundraising experience.
• Experience establishing sponsorships and donor relations.
• Develops strategies for fundraising, planned giving, and related activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage donor relations, planned giving, stewardship, and sponsor recognition.
• Grow sponsorships and monitor center donations and reporting.
• Coordinate website updates and use of the site for programs.
• Collaborate with VP of Community Relations on agency events.
• Build relationships with media outlets and public communications.
• Lead launch of planned giving program in the coming year.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

To be responsible for all fundraising activities of the Center. To assist with all aspects of the Center's website. To establish new and motivating ongoing sponsorships with the Center. To play a large role in creating strategies for solid fundraising, donor relations, planned giving, and all other development functions. Must have 8 years or more of fundraising experience

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous effort of donor relations, planned giving, stewardship, and sponsor recognition.
• Maintains and grows sponsorships for the Center
• Assists in monitoring and updating the website and coordinates the use of the site for other programs.
• Works with the VP of Community Relations to assist with all agency events.
• Builds and maintains relationships with media platforms like newspapers, radio, and television.
• Monitors the receipt of donations and the thank-you process of the donors.
• Monitors the flow of funding and reports to the VP and Development Committee on a regular basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• In this next year the Development Director will take the lead in launching a planned giving program.

Experience and Education

Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 8 years or more of fundraising experience
