Job summary

Sycle, a leading SaaS provider for audiology practice management, seeks a visionary Director of Design / UX to lead and grow the design team globally. You will audit, modernize, and refresh design templates, translate complex workflows into intuitive experiences, and collaborate with Software Development and Product Management to implement a unified design system.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in UX/UI with at least 3+ years in leadership or player-coach roles.
• Experience modernizing legacy SaaS platforms; microservices a plus.
• Healthcare/clinical tech experience preferred (HIPAA, accessibility).
• Proven history building and maintaining a design system with front-end partners.
• Strong storytelling and ability to communicate business value to execs.

Responsibilities

• Define UX/UI strategy and modernization roadmap for the product suite.
• Audit legacy templates and translate designs into scalable components.
• Systemize design with a robust Design System and Style Guide.
• Lead, coach, and elevate the Design Manager and designers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to implement designs.
• Establish user research culture and data-driven design decisions.
