Job summary

First Lockhart Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Manager in Lockhart, TX to lead the bank's deposit, teller, banker, and client service functions across locations. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

You will work with Lending, Operations, Compliance, Accounting, IT, Marketing, and executive management to align processes bank-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of banking experience with deposit operations, branch banking, or customer service.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of deposit operations, branch procedures, and banking regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop employees with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank's customer facing deposit and service teams to deliver a consistent First Lockhart Bank experience.
• Promote a culture where employees know customers, understand needs, and proactively assist.
• Ensure customer concerns and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Establish ownership culture for resolving customer issues with follow-up.
• Monitor feedback and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Maintain community banking presence by encouraging staff to participate in local events.
• Oversee daily operations of Teller, Banker, and Client Service departments.
• Ensure consistent deposit account opening, maintenance, servicing, and closing procedures across locations.
• Monitor workflows and identify efficiency improvements; ensure adherence to policies and controls.
• Maintain staffing levels and coordinate coverage across locations.
• Ensure proper balancing, cash handling, dual controls, and transaction procedures.
• Partner with Operations and Accounting for accurate reconciliation of deposit accounts.
• Assist with new deposit products, services, procedures, and technology implementation.
