Job summary

ACE Wellness Center in Ohio seeks a Day Treatment Director to research, develop, and plan outreach programs supporting organizational success. The role entails designing programs with procedures, deadlines, and budgets while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The position supervises staff and oversees all areas that support agency functionality. The department reserves the right to revise duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work with Ohio LSW certification.
• Six years of clinical social work experience with children and families.
• Experience with mental health and education services preferred.
• Experience in supervision preferred.
• Valid Ohio State driver’s license.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead large group discussions to answer questions and remedy complaints.
• Create and nurture effective communication within the organization and build a strong team through open communication and collaborative decision-making.
• Initiate and set goals for programs based on organizational strategy.
• Plan programmatic events from start to finish with processes, deadlines and milestones.
• Develop operations and budgets for programs.
• Provide staff education and training on therapeutic communications, interactions, and consumer satisfaction.
• Offer supervision and mentorship to direct care staff and unit employees.
• Coordinate with outpatient treatment teams to ensure follow-through of behavioral treatment plans across care levels.
• Participate in leadership meetings and implement administrative, clinical, and educational decisions.
