Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Director of Data Science to lead an analytics squad that enhances underwriting, pricing, and related decision processes. You will set the roadmap, guide data scientists, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, governance-backed AI solutions.

You will report to the AVP, Business Analytics and drive adoption through training, oversight, and continuous improvement, measuring impact on productivity and business value across Sun Life US.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytics solutions in underwriting, pricing, or related insurance decisions.
• Proven leadership in building and maturing data science teams and capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex problems into analytics products with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities
