CHAOS Industries is seeking a Director of Data Management and Operations to own the end-to-end data lifecycle. You will define data, manage ingestion, governance, and secure access, partnering with the Foundry engineering team to meet broad company needs.

This role is a technical and operational leadership position spanning governance, platform coordination, and test data operations. You will build durable systems and teams while staying close to field execution.

Competenze

• 10+ years in data engineering, governance, or analytics infrastructure with leadership.
• 3+ years managing teams incl. contractors.
• Experience treating data as operating discipline, not only analytics.
• Ability to coordinate between engineers, security, analysts, and leadership.
• Ownership of production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data modeling, metadata, lineage, and observability.

Mansioni

• Establish company-wide data definitions, ownership, quality, lineage, and change management.
• Create authoritative datasets and shared definitions for consistent metrics.
• Collaborate with Foundry engineering on ingestion, ETL, modeling, validation, and monitoring.
• Own permissions and implement least-privilege access with Security/Compliance.
• Plan data capture at test events, including sensor data, metadata, labels, and logging.
• Translate test objectives into data requirements and ensure systems readiness.
• Establish pre-/post-test data capture, validation, transfer, and cataloging.
