Job summary

Articore Group seeks a Director of Data Engineering to unify four teams into one strategic data function. You will oversee Delivery, People, and Technology, partner with cross‑functional leaders, and drive a consolidated warehouse while reducing tech debt.

You’ll manage managers, hire globally, and implement governance and privacy practices across GDPR and CCPA, balancing reliability with scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading data organizations, including at least 3 years managing managers.
• Experience consolidating a fragmented data estate across multiple brands or units.
• Direct ownership of cloud, warehouse, or infrastructure budgets with spending visibility.
• Familiarity with GDPR and CCPA; know modern data stack components.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for data across the group, aligning Delivery, People, and Technology roadmaps.
• Own prioritization of OKR-driven initiatives and cross-team tradeoffs to executives.
• Steward architecture for reliable pipelines and a consolidated data warehouse.
• Lead and scale a global data organization across time zones with clear ownership.
