Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Manager of Data Operations to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering enterprise data, reporting, analytics, and self-service solutions that support UCLA Health and the David Geffen School of Medicine.

This leader will drive a data-informed culture, collaborate with clinical, financial, and technical stakeholders, and oversee the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of analytics tools while ensuring users access meaningful insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Healthcare analytics or reporting functions.
• Experience leading analytics teams.
• Strong data modeling and ETL knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and Power BI.
• SQL proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Clarity Data Model Certification preferred.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing analytics and technology team.
• Define the strategic vision for enterprise reporting, analytics, and data operations.
• Prioritize and oversee analytics initiatives that drive measurable outcomes.
• Partner with UCLA Health and DGSOM stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive adoption of Epic Cogito and other enterprise analytics platforms.
• Promote self-service analytics, data literacy, and responsible data use.
• Ensure services meet SLAs, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Advise leadership on analytics strategy and emerging trends.
