Job summary

Xsolla is seeking an Engineering Manager, Data to lead a global team of data scientists, ML engineers, and data platform engineers. You will drive the data science and ad-tech roadmap, build scalable ML pipelines, and ensure privacy-compliant data infrastructure while delivering measurable business impact in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/data engineering or applied data science, with 3+ years leading technical ML teams.
• Deep ML modeling knowledge including regression, classification, causal inference, uplift, and forecasting.
• Experience deploying end-to-end ML systems into production (batch and real-time).
• Familiarity with ad tech ecosystems, attribution models, and campaign measurement.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering/Statistics; PhD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of data scientists, ML engineers, and data platform engineers.
• Define and drive the data science and ad tech roadmap for user modeling, campaigns, targeting, and personalization.
• Architect ML pipelines, feature engineering, training pipelines, serving, A/B testing, and causal inference systems.
• Oversee real-time pipelines for ad events and attribution for performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product/Growth/Marketing on audience scoring and LTV/churn models.
• Ensure privacy-compliant data infra aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and ATT.
• Foster reproducibility, observability, and lifecycle management of models.
• Mentor engineers and scientists on career development and leadership.
