Job summary

North Wind seeks a Director for Data & Knowledge Management to lead architecture, development, integration, and operation of enterprise data capabilities supporting Digital Engineering, AI/ML, and advanced analytics. You will direct data engineering, data science, and knowledge management teams across data lifecycle stages.

The role requires combining data science leadership with systems thinking and governance, ensuring data is governed, reusable, and AI-ready for diverse environments,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years leading technical or multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and operation of enterprise data and knowledge capabilities for AI-enabled engineering applications.
• Build and manage teams for acquiring, processing, curating, governing, and exposing data from engineering systems and other sources.
• Provide technical leadership for modern data architectures including lakehouse, data fabric, and knowledge graphs.
• Mentor technical staff and develop a high-performing Data & Knowledge organization.
