Job summary

North Wind is seeking a Director for Platform Infrastructure and Cybersecurity to architect, deploy, automate, and sustain secure data and AI platforms across on-prem, commercial cloud, and government cloud environments.

The role leads infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, cyber threat detection, and DevSecOps, delivering scalable, secure platforms while aligning with roadmaps and governance across Unclassified to Top Secret domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform/Data/DevSecOps/Infrastructure Engineering.
• 5+ years deploying systems in regulated or classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, automation, and sustainment of secure digital infra across on-prem, commercial cloud, government cloud, and classified environments.
• Manage infra engineering, cloud architecture, cyber threat detection, and DevSecOps, establishing scalable platforms.
• Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, AI engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and stakeholders on deployments across multiple domains.
• Architect and manage teams to automate cloud and data platforms using IaC, containers, and cloud-native tech.
• Provide leadership in secure, resilient, portable solutions across Unclassified to Top Secret environments and shape roadmaps.
