Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent. 6+ years data engineering experience.
• 3+ years in management, ideally with at least 2 years in the insurance industry.
• 3+ years hands-on with AWS, Python, and Databricks; 2+ years CI/CD and DevOps.
• Proficient in SQL with data governance and cloud tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Underwriting Data Engineering team, establishing processes and career development across the team.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data solutions and ML pipelines with data validation and governance.
• Govern productionization of models, coordinating with stakeholders for integration with production systems and APIs.
• Lead analytics portfolio roadmap, present analyses to inform management decisions, maintain cross-functional relationships.
• Oversee data pipelines in alignment with enterprise architecture and data strategies.
