Job summary

MaxLinear is seeking a Director of Product Management focused on high-speed data center interconnects to grow our Data Center Connectivity BU. You will drive product lifecycles, define roadmaps, and collaborate with partners and customers to ensure successful deployments and design wins.

Responsibilities include market analysis, MRD/TRD preparation, ROI modeling, and cross-functional leadership to align product plans with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of datacenter networks, both at a system and component level.
• Translate customer needs into differentiated products with appropriate tradeoffs.
• Deep understanding of high-speed datacom transceiver technology and use in datacenter networking.
• Deep understanding of high-speed SERDES markets, technologies and use cases in datacenters.
• Track-record of success leading aggressive, results-driven product management and planning, with roadmaps and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with partners, customers, and end users and drive adoption of MaxLinear solutions.
• Manage product lifecycles from inception to commercialization including feature roadmaps and pricing.
• Research market opportunities and competitive pressures to shape business plans.
• Prepare MRDs, TRDs, ROI analyses for new/updated releases.
• Position current products in new/existing markets and drive design wins and forecast revenue.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to track and communicate product line efforts.
• Contribute to annual corporate planning.
