Job summary

The Director, Data and AI/ML platform strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association will lead the development and execution of the platform strategy, owning end-to-end delivery and program management for mission-critical data platforms and AI initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, data science, and business stakeholders to define core platform products, drive adoption with KPI-based value demonstrations, and mentor a high-performing team while advancing cloud migration and

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in data and platform product management or related roles
Experience with AI/ML and predictive analytics to enhance data products
Experience in agile product development environments
Experience mentoring contributors and managers in product delivery and stakeholder management
Experience with platform delivery, cloud migrations, and cross-functional execution

Responsibilities

Define and own the data/AI platform strategy across BCBSA products
Manage portfolio of foundational data and AI/ML initiatives including cloud migrations
Define roadmap for foundational platform products and adoption strategy with KPI-driven value
Build and lead platform product strategy team; mentor staff
Ensure delivered capabilities drive measurable business value
