Job summary

Richard, Wayne & Roberts is seeking an experienced Director of Cybersecurity to lead a mature enterprise program in the energy and critical infrastructure sector. You will shape strategy, governance, risk management, and security operations across IT, cloud, and OT environments.

Location: Silver Springs, MD. This executive role emphasizes incident response, vendor management, and alignment with NERC CIP and NIST CSF, with preferred CISSP or cloud security certifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity, IT, infrastructure, or related experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity leadership or management experience.
• Must have OT/ICS, SCADA, NERC CIP, and NIST CSF.
• Experience developing or managing an enterprise cybersecurity program.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, security architecture, IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk management, security operations, incident response, governance across IT, cloud/SaaS, and OT environments.
• Oversee vendor and MSSP management to mature enterprise cybersecurity program.
• Collaborate with energy/critical infra stakeholders to ensure compliance with NERC CIP and NIST CSF.
