Job summary

Unifiedis is seeking a Cybersecurity Officer to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk. You will collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Operations to embed security across initiatives and vendors, ensuring regulatory readiness and robust data protection.

The role demands a senior leader with a track record of building and maturing security programs, managing budgets, and communicating risk to executives.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in cybersecurity or technology risk leadership.
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity programs, teams, vendors at manager level or higher.
• CISSP/CISM/CISA/CRISC or equivalent certs required or to be obtained within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise cybersecurity vision, strategy, governance, and metrics.
• Oversee risk governance, risk assessments, third-party security risk, and executive reporting.
• Lead security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, IAM, and incident response.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Internal Audit, Operations and leadership to embed security in initiatives.
• Direct staff, MSPs, vendors, and cross-functional teams; manage budgets and progress.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness across HIPAA, NIST, ISO, HITRUST, PCI, SOX, SOC 2.
