Job summary

FleetWorks in San Francisco seeks a Head of Deployments to own the customer journey from onboarding to go-live, including custom builds that power our customers’ core business. You’ll define scope, manage expectations, and balance what engineering can deliver with customer needs.

You’ll run the most important implementations, write the playbook from learnings, and build documentation that enables self-serve usage. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience owning implementation or technical customer-facing delivery at B2B software companies.
• Ability to coach engineers on customer relationships and expectations.
• Deep product knowledge, can learn complex workflows and integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High ownership and hands-on by default.

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end to end from onboarding to go-live and adoption.
• Build and maintain a cross-functional project management system for CS, Product, and Engineering.
• Scope work into clear requirements and define integration approaches.
• Partner with engineering and product to streamline customer builds.
• Create enablement materials, training, and documentation for customers.
• Manage and grow the deployment team, starting with the deployment strategist.
