Ria Money Transfer seeks a Director of Crypto Compliance to lead the crypto compliance program across US and international rails, blending crypto and fiat expertise to build a robust regulatory framework.
You will drive strategy, oversee AML/CTF controls, partner with Product and Tech, and act as the internal expert on crypto risk, sanctions, and regulatory changes, ensuring swift, compliant product delivery.
Ria opens ways for a better everyday life. With presence in over 190 countries and more than 500,000 locations worldwide, Ria is now the largest real-time cross-border money movement network in the world. We are Ria Money Transfer. A subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT), Ria is a leading expert in cross-border payments, delivering innovative financial services that are bridging the gap between digital and physical spaces. Ria’s omnichannel products and services provide unprecedented consumer choice, including real-time payments, mobile wallets, currency exchange, home delivery, and cardless ATM payouts. Ria’s global infrastructure, powered by theDandelionreal-time, cross-border payments network, facilitates financial access for customers, agents and partners alike by creating new market opportunities and promoting economic growth around the world.
Ria is expanding into stablecoin rails as part of its next-generation cross-border payment infrastructure, including on-ramp and off-ramp services within the network. As Director of Crypto Compliance, you will own this vertical end-to-end and be equally fluent in the crypto and traditional fiat financial worlds, moving fast, taking ownership, and building the compliance foundation as the business builds the product. This is a global role requiring strong knowledge of the US regulatory landscape alongside international frameworks. This is a hands-on, builder role, not a policy-writing desk job. You'll be the person the business turns to when it's evaluating a new stablecoin product, a new partner, or a new rail — and you'll be the one who decides what "doing it right" looks like, then makes it happen.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving team where your contributions directly impact growth. We invest in our people with tools, mentorship, and opportunities to level up fast-whether that’s moving into closing roles or leadership paths. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we go to market in the competitive payments space, using real insights and industry benchmarks to stay ahead of the curve.
