Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF) seeks a Director to lead the HIVE at the Anacostia Arts Center, driving membership growth, revenue, partnerships, and overall performance. This role integrates operations, business development, and community-building to align with WACIF's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, real estate management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in coworking space operations or nonprofit/ small business management roles.
• Familiarity with Stripe and Optix or similar coworking management software.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in organizing events.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to form effective partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort with Audio/Video tech and Internet troubleshooting.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership growth, retention, and sales for the HIVE.
• Manage financial performance and reporting for the space.
• Oversee space operations and member experience.
• Foster community building and programming.
• Coordinate events and space rentals related to the HIVE.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Programs, Lending, Marketing, Development and Finance teams.
• Provide technical assistance and support to entrepreneurs.
• Lead and develop the HIVE team and culture.
