Kansas City Life Insurance Company is seeking an energetic, self-motivated leader to join our Corporate Services team. The role directs facilities, records, mail, print, and purchasing operations, ensuring efficient, compliant service across all KC Life groups.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in operations with 3+ years in purchasing/inventory, plus strong communication and leadership skills to guide a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years in progressive operations, admin and supervisory roles in life insurance with 3+ years in purchasing and inventory management.
• 2+ years mail distribution and records management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years purchasing experience.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Regular and punctual attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor Facilities, Building, and Grounds operations to ensure safe, efficient work environment.
• Oversee Corporate Records activities for filing, retention, and distribution per retention requirements.
• Direct Mail Center activities and distribution of mail to Home Office staff and customers.
• Oversee Print Services to meet printing needs cost-effectively.
• Direct Purchasing/Supply activities for procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
• Manage corporate dining services for the President’s Dining Room and Corporate Dining Room.
• Manage Home Office and Field Force Loyalty Service Program.
• Oversee building security for the Home Office complex.
• Coach and develop employees; conduct timely performance reviews.
