Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead day-to-day physical security operations and end-to-end programs across assigned sites. You will oversee vendor performance, staffing, training plans, incident readiness, and continuous improvements that protect people, facilities, and business activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in law enforcement, corporate security, protective services, or equivalent operational security roles.

Responsibilities

• Own security operating plans and program outcomes across assigned sites, including guard coverage, staffing/training plans, access control, visitor management, post orders, and emergency readiness.
• Coordinate secure operations for events, including travel logistics and executive protection support as needed.
• Establish relationships with local law enforcement and external partners to stay current on risks and align security planning with internal teams.
• Own SOPs, post orders, training materials, and escalation procedures; drive improvements through drills and incident reviews.
