Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with high-level donors.
• Ability to develop persuasive cases for support.
• Proven track record in corporate/foundation fundraising or similar sales.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in donor relations.
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge database and Microsoft Office/Google apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects (approx. 75 – 125).
• Engage with academic leadership and staff to identify prospects; develop strategies.
• Collaborate with Institutional Advancement teams on proposals and sponsorships.
• Solicit outright gifts and sponsorships; prepare letters, proposals, and gift documents.
• Develop stewardship plans and donor communications.
• Lead or participate in events; some evenings/weekends.
• Travel to assigned regions to meet donors.
• Stay current on development best practices and industry trends.
