Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, finance, life sciences, journalism, or related field.
• 8+ years in investor relations, corporate or financial communications in biotech/pharma or healthcare markets.
• Experience preparing corporate decks, message maps, press releases, and conference messaging.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex science to business language.
• Strong project management skills in a fast-paced, lean environment.
• Proficiency using AI tools to improve drafting, research, and workflows.
• Familiarity with rare disease, pulmonary, or specialty pharmaceutical markets.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated external communications workplan and ensure messaging is clear, credible, and regulatory appropriate.
• Develop and maintain corporate external materials: decks, presentations, press materials, talking points, Q&A, website updates and social content.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, Finance, Legal, Clinical, and Medical Affairs to support corporate objectives and milestone communications.
• Partner with Leadership and HR on internal communications and employee-focused messaging.
• Translate complex clinical, regulatory, and commercial information into audience-appropriate messaging.
• Lead proactive and reactive communications around corporate, clinical, financing, conferences and milestones.
• Coordinate media relations, thought leadership, and earned media opportunities; manage media inquiries and executive preparation.
• Oversee external communications, design, wire distribution, website, conferences, and agency partners; manage scopes, budgets and timelines.
• Lead strategic planning for Celea’s web presence for patients, providers, investors, and media; establish scalable processes and templates.
